Alma A. Pierce Elementary School

Mrs. Rebecca Cabriales is the proud librarian at Alma Pierce Elementary. This is her 22nd year of teaching and fourth year as a librarian. Mrs. Cabriales is a product of LISD. She attended Santo Niño Elementary, Cigarroa Middle, and Cigarroa High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree at TAMIU. She completed her master's degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University. When not reading a good book, Mrs. Cabriales enjoys hiking and going to the sporting events with her husband and three children. Her favorite sports team is the Astros. She really loves her job as a librarian. Her motto is “everybody is a reader...some just haven’t found their favorite book yet.”
