Sophia Cuevas won the drawing contest for the second year in a row. Students are tasked with creating a drawing that showcases technology, its importance within our school district, and incorporate the year’s tech theme. Sophia captures, “Tech is at the Heart of Everything” with her robot drawing surrounded by all the apps LISD utilizes in their classes. Sophia is currently a fourth grade student at Alma Pierce. She is part of many clubs, some are robotics, tech, and the National Junior Honor Society. She gives 120% in all that she does. Alma Pierce is proud to have her as student, leading the way and being an example for all to follow.
